Mohbad’s real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji but he is popularly known by his stage name, Mohbad.
He was born on the 8th of June, 1995 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Mohbad grew up in Lagos and started his music career in 2016.
He got his breakthrough in the music industry in 2019 after he was discovered by Naira Marley.
Mohbad is signed to Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music.
He has released several hit songs including “Koma Jensun” featuring Naira Marley, “Jaabo”, “Overhype”, and “Ponmo Sweet” featuring Naira Marley and Lil Kesh.
Mohbad is known for his unique style of music which blends Afrobeats and street-hop.
He has collaborated with several top Nigerian artists including Olamide, Zlatan, and Bella Shmurda.
Mohbad has won several awards including the 2020 City People Music Award for Best Street Hop Artiste of the Year.
