JUST IN: FG, TUC Agree on Date to Resolve Labour Issues

The Federal Government and the Nigerian Trade Union Congress (TUC) have comes to  agreed on a date to resolve some of the congressional complaints of labour.

Within naija reports that the agreement was reached at a meeting between the Minister of Labour and Employment, Solomon Lalong and the leadership of the TUC headed by its President, Comrade Festus Osifo.

He disclosed that at the commencement of the meeting, the leadership of TUC was pushing for a one-week timeline for the resolution of issues in dispute, but had to reconsider after weighing governments constraints, stating, ‘We also need to be pragmatic.’
